Hi, I’m James. I’m a copywriter and a digital media consultant. I’ve volunteered my skills however and wherever I can, including short films, webseries, theatre productions, you name it! Well, how did I get here?

I bounced between customer service and office jobs for my early career, trying to deal with the fact that everyone told me I was “too quiet”. Then, in 2019, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Realising the battle I had been fighting wasn’t winnable I stopped trying to change myself and accepted who I was and who I wanted to be.

I am a writer. I am passionate about media in all its forms. I have unique, crazy, outside-the-box ideas, but I also come up with simple, down to earth solutions that leave people slapping their forehead and saying, “Why didn’t I think of that?” I recognise that there’s more to digital media and marketing than just doing what the numbers on the computer tell you to do, and I recognise that modern consumers and clients are better informed than most organisations give them credit for.

During the day I work as a copywriter, both freelance and in-house. The rest of the time I’m working on award-winning comedic screenplays, novels, and more! My most recent short film, Human Resources, just came out and is going through the festival circuit as we speak (or more accurately, as I write this).

This website is a showcase of what I’ve done and what I’m currently working on. It’s a way for you to see who I am, and to hopefully get an idea of what I can help do for you. So if you think we should work together, hit me up over my contact page and let’s talk!

Cheers,

James.
